2. GUESS THE WEIGHT OF THE BIGGEST FISH
So far, the following lads have made their guesses (no changing them now lads).................
John "Hannibal Lecter" Howard (paid) = 32lb 12ozs
Dan "The Bream" Roadknight (yet to pay) = 34lb 6ozs
Steve "Chilli" (paid) = 33lb 14ozs

Couple of things - (a) the money is being held by Yvonne/Ollie, and will be presented at the meeting nearest the deadline and (b) if you want to join in, PLEASE, get your money/guesses to me ASAP. We want as many people to enter, as it'll make it worthwhile for the winner, and we can have a bit of fun with it during the season.
Any questions, please give me a shout on (07917) 838604.
Cheers
Keith
SO !! Chaps. It's now November 1st, and the competitions are over.
The winners of the competitions are as follows - Congratulations to Both :
* Biggest Fish Capture - Prize is £100 cash money - Stokie Paul for his capture of the Mosaic. Well done mate.
(Dan & Ryan need to give Russ a tenner each)
* Guess the weight of the biggest fish competition - Prize is £35 cash money - Mr John Howard for his guess of 32lb 12ozs. About 4lb out (!!!), but we all got a bit misty eyed and optimistic on the night, thinking a rake of 30s would give themselves up. Well done, John. It might pay for a new top section !!!
(Dan needs to give Russ a fiver for this).
I'll speak to Russ soon, and no doubt, we'll get a meeting arranged, so that more formal presentations can be made, and they can buy us all a drink !!!
Well done chaps.
Keith

Absolutely correct, my follically challenged friend !!!
If the majority of the syndicate went in on this, the prize would pay for next years' ticket, and encourage people to stick their photos up on here, which, after all, is what we all want to see.
Anyway, sermon over. Well done, Paul. Good dangling.
