Jim's just notched a 23lb common

Just been down to see the dynamic duo, and Jim's just notched the humped back banana common, that Anthony had earlier in the year at 24s. Looked pretty empty, but lovely colour. Conditions are perfect down there tonight, and I think the two of them may be in for a few more.

Just noticed.....it's the same fish as Simon's (the villan) has got in his avatar.

Jim has had a storming night !!!!!

As well as the bow shaped common, Jim's had ........drum roll please......... the biggy out at 30lb 4ozs, an 18lb 12oz starburst mirror and a 20lb 4oz common.

Well done, mate. the conditions were awesome, and the fish were in front of you. looks like them telegraph poles are your lucky charm !!!!

Mr Howard had 2 also, I believe around 11lb each (2 commons).

The telegraph pole comment was aimed at Jim's new rods. You could use them on the beach at Cardiff foreshore, launching a 6oz griplead and half a mackerel hookbait !!!
