fair comment stokie if behind the net is fished enough its only a matter of time before the fish slip up and a chance to get a bit of grub into em.any ideas how many are behind the net?

Grant have now got the first pool about 150 yards up dark lane on the left hand side by the brook?? i think it used to belong to a fishing club a few years ago??? ive fished it a few times and had fish to just 18lb but heard there were much bigger fish in there

yes m8 weve got most of the pools just of dark lane (one pending land regristry) and solicitors

no mike stoped the day tickets years ago to much hassle but any of the tardey lads are more than welcome to give them a bash.

Cool, I wasnt asking cos I wanted to fish em really (although I would love to at some stage). I just wondered because years ago everyone used to mention dark lane but not anymore so I sort of guessed it was no longer day ticket. Everyone used to rave about it, I remember when I was a kid me and my dad tried to find it but we couldnt due to someones hopeless directions!

are we taking about the same pools not the ones on the left half way up the lane but the pools on the right i think theres 3 or 4 pools in total the first is quite small and others are thin but long am i right?? so i no im taking about the same 1s

id like a go on the bigger pools ive only had ago on the smaller pools but had loads of fish

Walk to the top of the steps and look to your right. Right down the end of the dam wall. thats the bay down that end. I just wondered if anybody had fished it and caught last year?

i think there was 1 chap fishing it just doing days i think his name is John but not to sure mate dont think he had anything but i think the silver fox has had a few in the past dont no if it was last year tho or some time before
