I got some money to spend in the corn stores! Gonna stock up on bits etc. Doubt I'll be making any major purchases this coming year. Am definitely in need of some of some post-neolithic bite alarms though so we'll see how it goes! Very Happy

Steve

I hear the new Chub bedchair is very good and pretty lightweight. Depends on your budget really.

Personally, I'd always go for the Nash Indulgence. Not light, but incredibly comfy once you've lugged it to the swim.

Without wishing to sound like a snob, I think the vision stuff is "entry level". Buy cheap - buy twice.

I've had a Trakker, which was great. I now have the Nash Indulgence 4 leg, and it's superb. You can pick a new one up for about £160 if you look around, and a second hand one for £100 ish. Had mine two years now, and it's still like new.

Steve

It's possible I could get you a Nash Indulgence Extra Strength Wideboy for £135 - second hand. This retails at £260 new and is the Rolls Royce of bedchairs. However, it is BIG, and you would need to consider your bivvy and sleeping bag dimensions.

I quite fancy it myself to be honest, but would have to buy a Nash sleeping bag, which I don't want to do.

Cheers

No probs. Why don't you just "do a Jim", save money, and buy yourself a good camping mat?
