Yep. That's confirmed. 28lb common which has some random scaling on one side by the dorsal. It was 23-24lb last year. It'll be 30 by the Autumn, no doubt. Large framed fish. Seen the photos earlier tonight.

Yep i can vouch for the 28, Awesome looking creature and you could tell jim was over the moon as he gave me and scruffy1 aka wally walters one of his very prized stella's each affraid Any of you that are familiar with jim's gourmet supplies will know he scrounges most of his food/beers off anybody within half a mile of the res lol! lol! lol!

Well done on the fish though mate cheers

Yep. I can vouch for Swimmer's Mate's vouch. He gave me a beer when I was down there, too. I thought it was santa rendeer rendeer rendeer rendeer for a second !!! (Only joking Jim !!!).

Nice one, mate. Top rod AND biggest fish of the year so far. Not too bad.

Not necessarily, Mr Zero. I had one last week off the Long Hole. Anthony had one the week before that where your mate was fishing. The swims down there have seen a lot of pressure of late. The fish will either (a) go into the no fishing zone or (b) move out into the lake to get away from the plop of leads etc.

I guess there all down there on that mass bed of bait you boys have been putting out! lol

I've had a good look at the deep end and in the bay at the top and have not seen any carp activity yet!

Still a bit cold and windy to fish up there in my opinion at the mo so maybe the fish have the same idea! Idea Laughing Idea

When we gona see some pics of these fish then?
