swims and there names

hi guys , hope your well , could some one provide me with a list of the names of each swim and where they are on some sort of map or diagram that would be wicked . trying to learn the swims before i get started . can't wait !!!! up the villa ...Matt

Hi Mr Osbourne, Gilbo calling! When we joined 5yrs or so back, there were maps availiable, i've misplaced mine but am sure russ has got one or could knock u 1 up. Perhaps it would be a gud idea to draw up a revised version dipicting the new swims and their names.(Hint, hint)

mr gil , that can be arranged , next time your on the bank let me know i will meet you there with a print off of google maps and you can let me know the name of the swims, and then bit of cut and paste on the old lapy , job done

Done a few bits and bobs mate, not a jot for my trouble. Roll on the spring! I'll keep plugging away 4 the meantime, you've gotta b in it to win it 'eh Matty? Theres been a few guys down the w'end but only bream showed up.

Ok chaps there will be a new map in about a week with all the relivant details on it ,including the new swims and net placement, just need some feed back on how much info you all require on the location of the features like bars soft spots and gulleys etc.. if i get some idea of how much to put on it i can finalise it fairly fast. so let me know. Wink

Can the map please depict gravel bars, drop offs, silt hard & soft, chod, shale, marginal hotspots, sandbars if applicliable, clay seams, stoney areas, hidden snags, weedbeds sunk & exposed, pot beds, canadian pond weed, silkweed, lillies, water depths (all swims), all swims new & old + names, mussel/snail/srimp/daphnia beds, pathways, members/public footpaths & access areas, carpark & lane, canal & lockgates, bridges, sunken boats/branches/trees/roots, boats and moorings, life jackets, life rings (if applicliable) overhanging trees, location of all known carp at all times of the year & most effective baits at each stage off the season (SAS), stagings, wire mesh, dog pooh, best social swims, double/single swims, suntraps, coldspots, compass directions, stiles, gates, perimeter fences, rights of way for members/non members/general public, our legal rights, breamy areas, fish screen, gully/streambed, thermoclines, carp barrows & storage areas, carpet & availability, loose wood, fence posts, nails, olly, russ, oscar, sam, bones, dazza, PLUG & PLUGHOLE!!!
