I know I said that they were going to send photo's but this came from the fisheries department, not from the person I was in contact with so hopefully we may still get photographs from him later on this week. Its interesting though. What interests me are these little circles. i.e, a green circle inside the red circle off the dam wall which suggests a bit of a plateau of Im not mistaken. The only thing is, its a shame we dont know what depths the different colours represent. We can only guess this from previous marker float explorations. Still worth exploring any interesting areas with the marker later on though, whether there is any sheer deviations in depth or whether its all gradual is another issue.

Right then chaps, hopefully this should make it a bit clearer..... Bloody hell I'm good to you lot!!!!

The only major difference in the contour map and the original res map is around the gulley / runway area. The blue line is the contour edge of water line (2000). This differs a bit from what we see now at the res. this contour was taken in 2000, so the difference could be....

natural erosion of banks,
us digging the banks up and altering the swims
OR not sure what capacity the res was when they did the contour reading, THIS could throw all the 'depths' out a bit but the contours should be roughly the same!

Actually just notice the volume of the res on the day of the contour mapping was

Not got a clue what relation this is to its max full m Cu, maybe thats 1 for Russ or a maths genius like the silver fox......

Hi lads I've got two sets of pic's of the resi virtually drained from 2000, I'm happy to post them but I'm new to the site and I'm not 100% sure whether pic's can be posted and to be honest how too! Help needed.
My Dad who is a new member is going to drop a set off to Russ's house next week.
