3 x Sportex "Brilliant" Carp Rods - New - For Sale

In December, I bought a set of Sportex Brilliant rods, in 3lb TC. At the time, I was very busy with our financial year end, and didn't really look into this properly, in terms of whether these rods are suited to my style of fishing at Berkswell (very heavy fluro line & very light leads (1oz/1.5oz). I saw a great deal and jumped at it.

Bottom line is, that the rods aren't right for this style (should have done my homework). I've spoken to Sportex and they confirm this. I took them down the Res last Saturday, stuck 3oz leads on and they are a dream. Again - something Sportex confirm - they are for middle/long distance fishing with 3oz leads needed to compress the rod.

They have been used for 2 day sessions, haven't had a fish caught on them and are literally .....brand new. There is not a mark on them. 40mm Fuji ringing all the way through, including the tips.

I got a great deal in December, and paid £675 for the three (they retail at £275 - £300. The Euro price RRP for one rod is 400).

I am looking for £600, with original cloth bags. This, my friends, is a bargain.
