The weekend?

Anybody brave the elements the weekend? If so did the carp gods reward you with a fish or two?

Had seven fish, 2x 19.12 mirrors 1x 24.10 common 1x 18.10 mirror 1x 16.08 common 1x 19.10 common 1x 20.02 common!!! Had to go swim swim for the last 20, nearly f'in drowned, god bless HMS nash carp cot.

Thanks Neil, see you the w'end? I'm officially swimmers mate II, or swimmers mate's mate, or perhaps swimmers mate's mate once removed or summut!!! Be nice to see you son, off to France myself soon, could do with some pointers.

Find yer spots, fill it in mid morning and put the rods out tea time. Relax with a beer and wait for them to get their heads down At one point when i was there this year i had 17 patches of bubbles over my baited area Put a rod on it and had a fish straight away but the others moved off after all the disturbance. Resting the swim worked very well for me and i was leaving the baits out till 10am then going for breakfast. Worth a try mate
