RUSS/WORK PARTY/MEETING/COMP/SUBS

Hello fellow Tardebiggers !!

Russ has asked me to put a post on to let you know that his laptop is knackered, hence no posts on here for a bit. Apparently, he'll be up and running towards the weekend.

Just wanted to remind you all that it's work party time this weekend. Saturday and Sunday. We usually start off for 9am-ish, so see you there. On Sunday, following the work party, we will be heading to the Cross at Finstall, for our members meeting. Russ, John and Jim will be giving some informative talks on rig safety, boating do's and don't's and it's your chance to ask any questions that you may have. Following the formal part, it'll probably descend into a mass piss up, so if that's your thing, then there'll be a fair few there willing to oblige (not me, I've taken a lifelong vow of temperance).

Also, if you haven't paid your subs, a gentle reminder please gents, that they're due at the end of this week. We have a lengthy waiting list, so if you intend staying on, please take a trip up to Yvonne's and take a couple of passport photos and your cheque book.

Also, if you wish to enter the big fish competitions for the forthcoming season, please bring an extra £10 or £5, or £15, depending on how confident you're feeling !!!! I'll be holding the money, and noting down weights etc. They will then go up here a week tonight, and will be made a sticky thread, so we can all have a bit of banter and keep a running total of who's in the lead etc !!!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing you all on the workparty and for a few bitter lemons on Sunday.

No I dont know who Richard is. Been on a year now but rarely got the chance to fish last year. Probabily got down only 8-10 time in total.
