I can hit it with a 4oz lead from my house and often walk round when I go the tip, its reputation as dangerous is kept alive by the lads who fish it , its no more dody the any parks pool I have seen the two 30lbs on the bank myself one is now supposed to be dead. A mate of mine has had pike to 24 this winter loads of small jacks. when I last walked around I was told that all the fish have been stolen and taken to a pool in ward end this was by a lad who was blanking at the time ( so it was his excuse or I was being fed one of the bullshit rumours)

its not dodgy....if you live near it....... and get on with the locals, i already sent mike an email on the subject, and not going to repeat me self, in the day, it is like any other park lake, but come night time, it changes, for strangers anyway, if there are a few of ya, its ok, and if you dont mind crack heads trying to sell you argos tents at 4 oclock in the morning, then its fine. i personally never had any problems on there, but like i said to mike i saw a few others that did, they are a very clicky lot on there, but at the end of the day, they are only protecting the stock of the lake, it holds some lovly fish, and its free, there are not that many lakes with 30 pound carp in it, that you can fish for free, is there, take care lads, lee

Tipton anglers tackle shop, has also gone bumb he has a 25% discount on anything in there, also i spoke to him when me and si went to watch a slide show last week and said that if any one is intrested they can have all 5 boards the lot out the shop for 7 grand.
