Carp world records

Two new world records first a common at 88lb 2oz and second a mirror at 99lb 4oz How long before one clears a ton??
Only trouble is there both in france

I would like to bet it will make the ton by the autumn when they start to have a feed up ready for the winter , I suppose it could make the ton at any time if it decides to eat half a kilo of bait before he picks up the hookbait !!

imagine that 100lb+ of fat carp fish giving you a slap on the mat

Do you think if you caught that fish it might ruin your fishing , I personally love catching carp of all sizes so I don't think it would effect me too badly but some it might , I think it's about keeping it in perspective!!

When I caught my uk pb it put me off for about two years still trying to get motivated now lol I get all worked up into fishing mode and something happens and all the plans go out the window
