fishing line
I’m after a bit of advice on what sort of line to put on my reels? Mono/fluro , anyone got any recommendations; there’s that many types and brands out there? Thanks
Re: fishing line
Hi Matt, I'd go for 16lb tigerline all the way for a choice of fluorocarbon, bankside tackle sell it for £60/1000m. Keiths been on it for a while and rates it highly. Mono choice would be ultima power carp in 16lb or daiwa H.T or the new daiwa S.T. Cheers mate u up for some piking soon?

Don't think you'll go wrong with it mate, it's very thin and sinks/casts well.

Re: fishing line
Or if you want something thats priced a bit more down to earth then Gold Label Pro Clear is my usual choice ( I opted for Pro Gold this year but isnt as good as the Clear). Smooth yet tough and very abrasion resistant. I still maintain you need a 35lb leader in dense weed/snags tho, whatever line your using!

Hiya Matt
What Jim said. I'd recommend the tiger line. Awesome all rounder, with every property you could wish for from flurocarbon, but casts better than the usual suspects. Very thing diameter on it as well.
You'd need to back up your new (ultra) tarty reels to put the tigerline on, but would still get roughly 330 metres on each, which is ample
I MAY be able to get tigerline cheaper than the £60 for 1000 metres. Eventually, we'll get to speak to each other, and I'll fill you in on it.
Cheers
