Res Frozen???
Alright fella's. Anyone know if the res is frozen or not? I was going to pop down tommorow to bed some new line into my reels but dont fancy the journey only to find its frozen.

Yes, mate. It's thawing in the margins and the middle, but is thick everywhere else. Going to take ages.

It was last Thursday when I walked the dogs up there mate. Was amazed to see a bivvy set up on the far bank though! Some hardy soul.

The Res is now clear of ice, bar the Tench and the Pylons. I'd imagine this will have gone by tomorrow/Thursday, as the wind is hacking from North/North West today into these swims.
