Richie Mac's Pics of Davvy's mirror + Connor and his roach !!!

Richie Mac and his littl'un, Connor, had a few results on Saturday. Richie caught Davvy's at 29lb 8ozs. This is, to my knowledge, the heaviest this one's been out at, and, I believe, the heaviest mirror to be caught at Tarde (that I know of, anyway). Unless someone tells me different, then I would say that this is the lake record mirror (I think Daz had it last year at 29lb 1oz - Daz - correct me here if I'm wrong).

Also, Connor had a few lovely roach out during his trip with Dad. Well done, mate !!!

Great result! I cant believe how different this fish looks every time its caught, and its 3lb weight gain in 5 weeks!!!

Look at the difference in colour between John Howard's capture on Thursday and Richie's capture on Saturday morning. It's unbelieveable. I reckon it's got sunburn !! It is clearly on the munch.

the colour change of this fish is unbelieveable man was it court on the 13 each time?? if so looks like the robin red in the bait is a result to the colour change MINT...

It's just the different light values on the day/different camera settings probably. Robin Red's good but it ain't that pokey man!!

Oh and well done Richie and young Connor... I myself had a bit of fun last year fishing the sliding float after locating what I could only describe as some 'specimen redfins'. I have never seen such immaculate Roach! I wasn't fortunate enough to get amongst the real biggies but the ones I did manage to catch (up to 14oz) were proper mint! Superb looking hybrids too!
