Barbecue at the Res!

Russ and I were talking about getting members together and rather than a meeting at The Cross we thought a barbecue at the Res on Saturday 18th June would be a good way of getting together for a few well chosen words combined with a social on the bank and possibly some fishing to follow? Hope you'll be able to make it. We'll fire up the barbecue at the back of the Beach Swim between 1.00 and 4.00pm and supply some bangers, burgers etc. but please feel free to bring some of your own grilling grub and drinks to add to the feast. It will be a sunny day!? but come rain or shine we'll be going ahead. The spring newsletter will be with you shortly and I'll include the barbecue as an item but please mention it to other members as and when you see/ text them. The newsletter will be full of catch reports but if you want to make sure yours is included just give me a text on 07876014089 or email on jho4e at hotmail.co.uk plus any other news items you'd like included. Typical, I'm at my best mate's lad's christening in York that weekend. He's a mad fisherman too so I suppose it will be similar, loads of beer and fishing talk, think he's having a bbq too
