Fishing Well @ The Res
The Res is fishing fairly well @ the moment with fish coming out fairly regularly.
Huge congratualtions to Luke, new member, who had one of the big girls on Friday night. Weight was between 35 and 36, as Luke's scales, ahem, could do with an upgrade, but it doesn't detract from a superb capture, especially for a new member. Well done mate.
Also - fantasic capture of the Mosaic Common for Danny Zooco Roadknight !! 33lb 12ozs is the highest weight that fish has ever been out, and a superb capture for Dan. First UK 30, I believe, but I could be wrong.
I managed to sneak one out this morning, and as I'm not a signed up member of the SSS, I'll post the pics up pronto. 21lb 4oz mirror.
Fish coming out from a range of swims, so it's a fairly even playing field.
Tight Lines - and see you Friday evening for a beer or ten.

Thanks for keeping us updated!
Cheers Keith,
I was beginning to think the catch reports section was my exclusive province! It's really good to keep members informed on what's been coming out so we can all have a chance to get in on the action when the fish are on the feed. Also great to celebrate success and be able to offer our congrats to those who've been successful. Well done to Luke on a brilliant start to his Tarde membership and to Keith for posting the info. Look forward to seeing your pics Keith! I know Russ is going to give a presentation on photography of captures at next Frdiay's get together which should help us all with recording and sharing our captures and help us track the progress of our stock over time. Hope to see you there Luke and Keith. Your first drink's on me!
Cheers,
John

Dan's new UK PB!
Just to confirm that Dan Roadknight's capture of the Mosaic common is a new UK PB for Dan. Having spoken to him the morning after the capture he was "made up" with this catch which is a great welcome back to Dan who's just rejoined the syndicate. Once again big congrats to Dan and look forward to seeing the pictures. Dan's now on four fish for the new season and from reports across the syndicate since the beginning of March we've already banked over 30 carp to date so as Keith said "The Res is fishing well!"

Simon - apologies mate. Meant to thank you for the netting and graphs.
I got a message back from Lee ref your rods. He can't help, and suggested you contact customer services. No dice.

I had that fish last year from the long runway. It's a bit of a 2 tone fish. I will find the photo out. 21 3. When I had it.

@ Simon M - it's a slow/no grower to be honest. My mate Stokie had it out 4 years ago at around the same weight.
