Re: Anyone Fishing this weekend?
I'm not fishing myself, but I'd imagine it's going to be fairly busy. I've been down every night this week, and there's been at least 3 people baiting up every night. I'd imagine that others have been down during the day, too. Not for me to say where, as that's their business.
On the weekends, as there's not a booking system (and never will be), it's a case of get there when you can, and get what swim you can. I've baited up swims all week, only to find it occupied on the day I was due to fish. It's really frustrating, but, that's the way it goes. I'd imagine most of us have been in this scenario a few times in the past couple of years. The thing to do is to bait up more than one swim.

Hi I'm new to the area and wondered if I can fish this weekend.
The man next door less, his name is, says he used to fish there in the 90's when it was the chocolit lake? and says it was always good sport.
How much does it cost to fish there?

Unfortunately, mate, it's not a day ticket lake. You can't pay and then fish for a day. It's a syndicated lake.
You would need to be invited by one of the existing members, as a guest.

Good luck to all those fishing this weekend. The bream are going for it with their annual fun, so if you hear a load of splashing (seems to be over the far side more than anywhere at the moment), it's likely to be a sexed up snotter !!!!
