been down lake 2day, Russ has had 7 fish 3 off the top inc the 26m mirror he had last week and i think jim had one as well

Hi Martin any more info on Russ's fish please were they from the gulley or have the fish started to spread out. I am planning a session this week and would like to know if I should bite the bullet cut my gear to the min and take the walk of death to the far side.

HI Busby, Russ had 4 from the gulley and 3 from up by the beach off the top they will be all along the margins until they have got their fins over, then they will spread out, so i would grin and bear it and go for the walk chances are it will be worth it

I did the weekend in the top bay near the caravan, had one bream and one roach....on a 20mm boily?? Embarassed

still loads of fish topping and cruising around, but they would not feed off the top on either the caravan on the top peg.

They seem to be following the bream spawn, and no doubt are preparing to do the deed themselves!

I'd say if you cant get on either the house or gully swims then your better off going down for some mid to late afternoon stalking as there simply not about to be caught.
