I have 2 slim Jims and I am searching for 2 or 3 more. Its difficult to find them in the Netherlands.

It may be a long shot as they are discontinued but maybe someone there will be able to put you in touch with someone who has a set that their willing to part with, or even Jim Gibbinson himself! Your writing is perfectly understandable to me! Thanks for your pics. I think most english anglers tend to go to France for there holiday fishing but Holland is quite an intriguing place with its canals and rivers especially. Do you get many English anglers there?

I had a small company, I developped, and made Bait boats. www.baitervoerboten.nl and www.eurofishing.nl. The Baiter was completely developed and built by me. The Navigator from Eurofishing was for 80% developped by me.
Last winter I sold my company, I have a very bad back and they removed in total 11 hernia,s. Customers had to wait for over 11 months for a boat.
Some customers came from the U.K, last summer I spoke with 2 people ( I think it were people) from Angling intelligence en with people from Nash. Nash was interested in the Navigator baitboat. Almost everybody I spoke with invited me to the Uk.
I also had to take them to my place here in Holland. I am a carp angler for over 25 years. I wont share my place with stragers.
I am fishing mostly at one of the biggest lakes in Holland. I do that alone and there is never another carpcatcher in the neigbourhood . Thats the reason why it,s my favourite type of fishing.
If you want to catch big Fish and if you prefer a few anglers. I will advise you Belgium and the rivers in Holland.

Cool! you are lucky to have waters with big fish where hardly anyone fishes. In England carp angling is so popular that most of the big fish waters are rammed every week!

Dont get me wrong, carp angling became very big here in holland the last 10 years. Thats why I bought me a boat and changed my way of angling completely.
It took 4 years to catch my first carp in the big lake. In that area there is almost no carp. This year was the average 2.8 carp in one night. So I had a fantastic year. .There were also youngsters and that made me happy because they were born there. I will show you a picture of these fish.
Last year I tried Germany also and there are very nice carps and places.
There is a river called Ems, if you prefer big and strong fish. Go to the Ems. The second picture is from the Ems. ( I wont tell you how heavy the fish was but I am 113 kilo)

Yes, I saw them also. 4 rods were sold. I was to late ( as usual)
