The Bank Holiday Weekend So Far
Hello All
Did a social on Friday night with Luke, and then with the Scruff on Saturday, just gone. Great time had, nice curry, fish and chips, few beers, Banner's breakfasts and lots of chat about Tardebigge and it's growing residents. Mr Deaks, Davvy and Danny "Blank" (!!!) also on. Think Ryan fished the Bay also and "Slim Jim" in the caravan.
Anyway, Friday night, and "tek a boo, son" to Davvy. Fishing from the Damn Wall, Davvy managed to catch a 28lb 4oz common, which I understand is a PB common, at around midnight. He then put us all truly to shame, and winkled out a 21lb mirror at about 6am. Nice one mate. I'll get the photos printed for you on Thursday Here's a couple for you...........
Saturday night came, and a change of personnel. Luke moved into the peg Davvy had vacated. Scruff Walters moved into the Long with me, Danny Blank set up on the steps. Scruff lost one at about 2.30am, after a minute or so of action. Back to the pit, and woke up to hear that Luke had lost one at the net, and Mr Deaks had landed a 21lb mirror at about 5 am this morning.
So, all in all, a great weekend. I left this morning, and Dan had moved into the Long, whilst Deaks and Luke continued in their respective swims. Conditions were getting better and better as I left, with more cloud, and a growing south westerly. I'm expecting more news from the Res tomorrow morning.
