I think it was a couple of years ago. Jims done alright in there aswell but it seems to only produce in the winter. Its a funny old swim. It looks carpy with the tree branches and pads but it never "feels" carpy. It always feels a bit lifeless down there. i just thought about it earlier and wondered if anyone had done any good. may be worth keeping an eye on once its thawed out.-If anyones gonna brave it this side of the spring that is! pirat

Yea john did really well out of there a couple of years ago. Don't think it's had a good hammering since then.

Tell you what you know its cold when the brook is partially iced over, just saw a stray heron too, He cant get a meal for love nor money, poor sod! 80 degrees plus tho in Egypt, dont add up!
