Recent captures by yours truly and others!
These three fish were caught during the last three weeks during my overnighters. The Stub Tail mirror at exactly 25lb from "No Carp Bay!?" The two commons during my overnighter last week. Boy did I have a good day at work, with matchsticks required by 2pm.
The bronze common weighed in at 21lb 12oz and the silver common at 26lb 8oz. Both these fish were mint, immaculate. I wish I could say the same of the captor these days! During last week the following fish were accounted for: My 2 commons, a 25lb common to new member Clive, a mate of Bailiff Bones, a new PB on his first visit. Well done G.B. Two doubles to Bones, a 24lb mirror and 23lb common to our Les, both new PBs, top dangling mate, and another fish, not sure of weight to Si Deakin. That's 8 fish last week bringing the overall tally well into the 30's. Fish are coming out regularly from all round the lake with no particluar swims dominating. When fishing myself or walking the banks I've been talking to our members and they all agree that this is the best start to a Tarde season for several years.
Long may it continue!
