New Season Early captures 2014/15
Hi to all Tardebigge Anglers members.
Just a limited selection of early season captures from the Res.
1st yours truly with the first carp out this year in late February from "The Secret Swim". My second capture of the very distinctive mirror with the white fringed tail fin at 22lb 8oz.
2nd new member Shayne with his first Tardebigge carp in Early March from "The House Swim". A Tarde turbo of 10lb 14oz.
3rd two of our recent stockies, mirrors of 6lb and 8lb taken by new member Lee, again his first Tarde carp, from "The House Swim" this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
These lovely linears are ones for the future!
As you can see Lee sensibly took mat shots of these fish. A great help to us in tracking their progress over the coming years. Thanks Lee!
4thly and finally for this catch reports post our first Tarde 30 of the new season! This cracking looking dark silver common weighing 30lb on the nose was taken by new member Ben from Wychwood Tackle from "The Corner swim". Once again his 1st Tardebigge carp and possibly a new thirty for the water!?
Well done to Shayne, Lee and Ben for their first Res captures. It's great to get off the mark on a new water!
Submitting catch reports within 3 days of your session is part of your membership rules and we do need these if we are to monitor the fish stocks and progress of individual fish plus up to date information for all our members. I know of at least a dozen captures so far this season since that first mirror in February so if you do have other photos and reports I've not yet received please send them ASAP. These can be sent to my mobile phone or email as listed in our syndicate rules.
P.S. Anyone who has not received our updated rules either on the bank or at our recent meeting at the Cross, copies are available from me on the bank, Fishery Office at 5 Penmanor or by request from me through email. We should all be carrying a set of current rules with us when fishing at the Res.
Tight Lines to all for the coming season and do keep those catch reports rolling in as the season progresses.
