NEW 30 out last night

Congratulations to Simon (new member) on his capture last night. First UK 30 and a PB, I think. 31lb 6oz common.

Not a fish I recognise. Certainly not one of the "known" 30s. Confirmed it with Russ this morning.

Don't want to steal his thunder, but wanted to say well done.

Spoke to Simon yesterday evening just after he'd cast in for his overnight session. He told Keith and I how much he's enjoying fishing the Res. Well he's on cloud 9 now with a new pb common and he followed that up with a 24lb mirror. Top angling Simon here's to many more captures and we look forward to seeing the photos which keith ably assisted with.

Hi all.. right, where do I start? Well I had better start with thankyous, first of all a big thankyou to Keith, not just for helping with the photos last night, but also for all his help over the last 3 months. Also thankyou to 'Mrs Keith' for giving him a lift to the lake! As you can imagine, I am over the moon, I was not expecting to have a 30 in my first season.. and what a pristine fish it was! And to top it off, a stunning 24lb mirror this morning. Happy days!
