Fished last night

Was a bit nipply at -5, but once the layers and curry were sorted, it wasn't bad at all.

Woken by a screaming take for Delkim Deaks at 11pm, only for him to wind in a fair dinkum, nailed 2lb 10oz roach. We weighed it in a pastic bag, as initially, as it was coming in, we thought it was a bream ! Fantastic specimen fish. Other than that, a good night's sleep was had, followed by a top notch breakfast.

A very nice roach would of been better on 1.1lb bottom and a waggler

i had one the same weight last year it was a pb for me too..

went up the res friday spinning didn't have any pike but had 13 perch but no big uns

Hey I should get some practice in and go up and fish for the Perch on the fly. They'd go well on a cat's whisker fished deep n' slow!

Well done Mr Deaks, crackin' Redfin!... Talking of the fly that's what I had my biggest Roach on, -out of season from the Bow Brook , that was a good '2' aswell.
