John & Jim off to flyers in France

Hi All

HAd a few texts from Mr Howard yesterday and this morning. They've set off at a cracking pace on the first day/night of their French trip.

Within 40 minutes of casting out, Mr Howard had a 31lb 12oz mirror, and backed that up an hour later with a 29lb 6ox mirror. Top bombing, Mr H.

However, as with all these things, Mr Gilbert has just banked ...........drum roll please...........a 50lb 12oz common. WOW !!!

Met your mate Ade Summers (??) yesterday. Had a good chat with him, and he may be looking to join. Seems like just the type of member we want on Tarde.

Hopefully, following the lads triumphant trip, Davvy, Deaks and myself can post up some whackers in two weeks time. Can't wait.

Have just had some flyers done for the bait with amongst others, photos of Jim and John's best fish from last years trip! Basically I'll need to have em redone with the new pictures when I get em! Im not moaning in the slightest though dont get me wrong!!

Yep! He couldnt believe they turned up with a fishmeal last year, he thought they were barmy! He kept his mouth shut after a day or two tho lol. Johns even passed my number on to a couple of German blokes who are interested so its obviously caused a stir! I have just ran out tho. I gotta make some more soon if anyones interested? Dont be shy, yer know ya wanna!!

As I write this morning Jims just text to confirm a 44lb 8oz Common which takes the tally up to 23! Top anglin fellas!!
